Position Overview

The Revenue Operations Specialist at harpin AI is our first dedicated RevOps hire—a critical foundational role responsible for building and optimizing the systems, workflows, and processes that drive predictable revenue growth.  This is a hands-on, technical role where you’ll design, architect, and execute sophisticated lead generation campaigns (inbound and outbound), design high-converting email sequences, maintain and improve sales collateral, and create the operational infrastructure and processes that enables our sales and marketing teams to scale and succeed.

As the sole RevOps resource supporting a small but growing sales team, you’ll wear multiple hats—part marketing automation specialist, part sales enablement expert, part data architect, and part data analyst. You’ll work directly with leadership to translate revenue strategy into executable campaigns while building scalable systems that support rapid growth.

This role demands technical proficiency in managing our marketing and sales tech stack (HubSpot, Clay, Apollo, Instantly, etc.), a growth hacker’s mindset, strong design sensibilities for sales collateral, and the ability to move fast without sacrificing quality.  You’ll have significant autonomy and ownership—your work will directly impact pipeline generation and revenue outcomes from day one.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue Automation & Campaign Execution

  • Design, build, and optimize our HubSpot workflows for outbound prospecting, marketing automation, and sales lead generation campaigns.
  • Orchestrate multi-channel outbound sequences using Clay for data enrichment, Apollo for prospecting, and Instantly for email delivery—ensuring seamless integration and data flow between systems.
  • Create A/B testing frameworks for email copy, subject lines, and sending patterns to continuously improve campaign performance and conversion rates.
  • Monitor deliverability metrics, sender reputation, and email performance to maintain high inbox placement and engagement rates.

CRM Management & Data Hygiene

  • Own HubSpot CRM configuration, custom properties, deal stages, and pipeline management to ensure accurate forecasting and reporting.
  • Implement data quality standards and automated cleanup processes to maintain database integrity across all revenue systems.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports that provide real-time visibility into pipeline health, campaign performance, and revenue metrics.

Sales Enablement & Collateral Management

  • Help design and maintain sales collateral including one-pagers, case studies, pitch decks, proposals, and ROI calculators using existing templates and brand guidelines.
  • Partner with CRO and sales team to create customized proposals and presentations for high-value opportunities.
  • Manage sales content library and ensure all materials are current, on-brand, and easily accessible to the revenue team.
  • Coordinate with external design resources when needed for complex or high-priority projects.

Process Optimization & Scalability

  • Document and refine revenue processes, playbooks, and best practices to create repeatability and enable future team scaling.
  • Identify bottlenecks in the sales process and implement automation solutions to increase efficiency and velocity.
  • Evaluate and recommend new tools or integrations that enhance revenue team productivity and effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in revenue operations, sales operations, marketing operations, or growth marketing roles—preferably in B2B SaaS or high-growth startups.
  • Expert-level proficiency in HubSpot CRM including workflows, sequences, custom objects, and reporting.  HubSpot certifications strongly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience building and managing outbound campaigns using modern sales tech stack: Clay (data enrichment), Apollo (prospecting), Instantly or similar (email deliverability).
  • Strong design and content creation skills with proficiency in Canva, PowerPoint/Google Slides, or similar tools for creating professional sales collateral.
  • Technical mindset with ability to troubleshoot integrations, work with APIs (Zapier/Make), and understand data flows between systems.
  • Data-driven decision maker who can analyze metrics, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable optimizations.
  • Self-starter mentality with proven ability to build processes and systems from scratch with minimal oversight.
  • Excellent written communication skills—you can craft compelling email copy and clear, persuasive sales narratives.
  • Background supporting professional services or consultative sales environments.
  • Eye for design and attention to detail with a commitment to producing polished, professional materials that reflect enterprise-level quality.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience as first or early RevOps hire at a startup—you’ve built revenue infrastructure from the ground up.
  • Background in growth hacking or performance marketing with measurable results scaling outbound campaigns.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML SaaS products or data-intensive B2B solutions, particularly in hospitality, e-commerce, or retail verticals.
  • Experience with additional tools in the modern revenue stack: LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Clearbit, ZoomInfo, PandaDoc, Fathom, Gong, or similar.
  • SQL or Python skills for custom reporting and data analysis.
  • Graphic design capabilities beyond basic slide deck creation (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Understanding of email deliverability best practices, DKIM/SPF/DMARC configurations, and sender reputation management.
  • Professional experience using AI assistance tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Copilot to enhance productivity.

What Success Looks Like in First 90 Days

  • Build and launch 3+ high-performing outbound campaigns with measurable pipeline contribution.
  • Optimize existing HubSpot instance with improved workflows, data hygiene protocols, and reporting dashboards.
  • Create or refresh sales collateral suite including updated one-pagers, case studies, and proposal templates.
  • Establish documentation and playbooks for key revenue processes to enable scalability.
  • Demonstrate clear ROI through improved conversion rates, increased pipeline velocity, or enhanced campaign performance.
