Position Overview
The Client Solutions Technical Architect plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality technical
solutions and services to clients. Working closely with sales, consulting, and engineering teams,
this role is responsible for understanding client requirements, designing appropriate technical
solutions, and overseeing their implementation. The Client Solutions Technical Architect serves
as a trusted advisor to clients, helping them maximize the value of their technology investments
and achieve their business objectives.

Location: Remote (anywhere in the U.S.)

Reports to: Josh Bass (VP of Client Solutions)

Travel Requirements: 25% to client locations (primarily the travel will be to Miami, FL and Santa Clarita, CA)

Focus for the first 90 days:
You will be responsible for analyzing our customer’s existing systems of
record and processes that manage guest data, documenting technical gaps and risks, and
developing a technical architecture that will securely provide consistent, accurate, and timely
data to downstream systems. A background in domain-driven modeling and experience
refactoring enterprise transactional systems is strongly desired.

Responsibilities

Solution Design and Architecture: Collaborate with clients to understand their business
goals, technical requirements, and challenges. Design end-to-end technical solutions
that address client needs while adhering to industry best practices, standards, and
regulatory requirements.
Requirements Analysis and Documentation: Gather and analyze client requirements,
translating business needs into technical specifications and solution designs. Document
solution architectures, including system components, data flows, integration points, and
security considerations.
Technical Consultation and Advisory: Serve as a subject matter expert and trusted
advisor to clients, providing guidance on technology strategy, platform selection, and
implementation approach. Offer recommendations and best practices based on industry
trends, vendor offerings, and past experiences.
Pre-sales Support and Solutioning: Support the sales team during pre-sales activities,
including solution presentations, product demonstrations, and technical workshops.
Collaborate with sales engineers and solution architects to develop tailored proposals
and statements of work (SOWs) that align with client requirements and objectives.
Scoping and Risk Management: Work with project managers and delivery teams to
provide technical leadership and oversight throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring
successful delivery and client satisfaction.
Stakeholder Engagement and Communication: Engage with key stakeholders, including
clients, executives, partners, and cross-functional teams, to communicate technical
concepts, project status, and risks. Foster strong relationships built on trust,
transparency, and effective communication.
Quality Assurance and Risk Management: Conduct technical reviews, code inspections,
and quality assurance checks to ensure the integrity, reliability, and security of delivered
solutions. Identify and mitigate technical risks and dependencies that may impact
project success or client satisfaction.
Technical Expertise: Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and
software development best practices. Share knowledge and insights with clients and
internal Harpin product teams.


Qualifications
● Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
● 10+ years of relevant working experience.
● Proven experience in technical consulting, solutions architecture, or professional services
delivery, preferably in a client-facing role.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; the ability to relay information effectively
to both technical and non-technical audiences.
● Deep understanding of enterprise software architectures, cloud platforms, and integration technologies.
● Experience working with identity management architectures and federated authentication
technologies (OAuth, OpenID Connect, etc).
● Experience with Master Data Management (MDM)
● Proficiency in designing and implementing solutions using a variety of programming languages,
frameworks, and platforms.
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly understand complex
technical challenges and propose effective solutions.
● Experience working in enterprise customer environments, including stakeholder
communication, expectation management, and navigating complex interdependencies.
● Flexibility to travel to client sites as needed (depending on the organization and client engagements).
● Results-driven leader; holds themselves accountable to the customer and our team.
