Position Overview
The Technical Solutions Architect plays a mission-critical role in defining and delivering client solutions that bring Harpin AI’s product capabilities to life. This is a senior, client-facing position that blends deep technical acumen, business understanding and cross-functional leadership.
You’ll lead the design of end-to-end architectures that unlock business value from fragmented, siloed and poor quality data. You’ll collaborate with clients and internal teams to define implementation plans, mitigate technical risk, and drive measurable outcomes—such as reducing churn, increasing conversion, and surfacing actionable insights from underutilized customer data.
A key focus for this role in 2025 will be leading by example in the adoption of generative AI tools to improve internal and partner engineering productivity. Harpin has committed to improving performance and efficiency by 40% by the end of 2025, and this role will play a central part in helping our engineering and QA teams—both internal and offshore—achieve that goal through smarter, AI-enabled work processes.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design and Architecture
- Design integrated technical solutions using Harpin AI’s platform to activate clients’ existing systems of record without the need for replacement.
- Define architectures that leverage AI-powered tools.
Requirements Analysis and Documentation
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to capture business needs and translate them into detailed solution specifications.
- Produce architecture documentation that clearly outlines system components, business logic, data flows, API integrations, and compliance with security standards.
Technical Consultation and Advisory
- Serve as a strategic technology partner for clients, helping them rethink how they use data to drive growth and business outcomes.
- Stay abreast of trends in AI, data activation, identity resolution, and customer analytics to provide expert guidance and forward-looking recommendations.
Pre-Sales Support and Solutioning
- Support the sales cycle by participating in discovery sessions, presenting technical solutions, and co-developing SOWs that showcase Harpin’s value proposition.
- Work closely with sales engineers and client partners to tailor demos and proposals for retail, hospitality, and gaming clients.
Scoping and Risk Management
- Partner with product owners and delivery leads to scope implementations accurately, manage technical risks, and ensure alignment from kickoff to go-live.
- Serve as a hands-on technical leader during onboarding, configuration, and deployment efforts.
Stakeholder Engagement and Communication
- Act as a trusted, credible voice with client executives and cross-functional teams by simplifying complex technical concepts and fostering transparency.
- Build long-term relationships that position Harpin as a strategic enabler of revenue growth and operational efficiency.
Quality Assurance and Governance
- Conduct technical reviews and solution validations to ensure delivery excellence, platform security, and performance.
- Identify potential pitfalls early and recommend mitigation strategies based on prior enterprise delivery experience.
Leadership in Generative AI Adoption
- Lead by example in incorporating generative AI tools into day-to-day technical work, solution design, documentation, and delivery.
- Actively coach and support internal and offshore partner engineering and QA teams in adopting AI tools to boost productivity and achieve Harpin’s 40% performance improvement target.
- Track, report, and analyze the impact of AI-driven process improvements and propose refinements as needed.
Technology Leadership and Thought Partnership
- Actively contribute to Harpin’s product strategy by sharing insights from client engagements and surfacing opportunities for platform enhancement.
- Promote adoption of AI tools and emerging practices internally to accelerate time-to-value for clients and improve delivery scalability.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years in solution architecture, technical consulting, or enterprise software implementation
- Deep knowledge of customer data platforms (CDPs), CRM systems, data pipelines, and integration architecture
- Experience designing and delivering cloud-based, data-driven solutions in enterprise environments
- Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, particularly as applied to customer segmentation, churn prediction, and personalization
- Familiarity with REST APIs, identity resolution, and data security/privacy practices
- Demonstrated success in supporting sales teams with technical solutioning and executive-facing engagements
- Clear and compelling communicator, able to bridge business needs and technical details
- Background in retail, hospitality, or gaming is strongly preferred
- Demonstrated experience with generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, Notion AI, etc.) to accelerate design, development, and documentation is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree a plus
